A day full of culture and community for ingenit

Last Saturday, our employees and their families had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful day together. This year's company outing took us to the fascinating new exhibition "Planet Ozean" (Planet Ocean) at the Gasometer Oberhausen. This impressive exhibition takes visitors on a breathtaking journey into the depths of the oceans and showcases the beauty and diversity of the underwater world.

A particular highlight was “Der Klang der Tiefe” (The Sound of the Deep), a spatial installation created especially for the exhibition. Here, visitors immerse themselves in unique soundscapes and hear, among other things, whale songs, vibrant coral reefs and a school of cod. No less exciting was the centerpiece of the exhibition: the immersive show “Die Welle” (The Wave), projected onto an L-shaped screen 40 m high and 18 m wide, displays stunning footage. Here we experienced the fragile beauty and fascinating habitats of the oceans up close. We dove with sharks, saw jellyfish and watched manta rays. These experiences not only amazed us but also raised our awareness of how important it is to protect the oceans.

Those who wanted to – and weren't afraid of heights – took the elevator or walked up to the Gasometer's viewing platform and enjoyed a great view across the Ruhr area in perfect weather. 

After all these inspiring impressions from the exhibition and the Gasometer, we moved on to the Centro, where we wrapped up the day in a relaxed atmosphere with good food. It gave everyone the chance to talk outside of everyday work and strengthen the family-like community of our company.

The outing was a complete success – it not only enriched us culturally but also further strengthened our team spirit. We are already looking forward to our next shared experience: the TeamWalk Tour.
