A day full of fun at ingenit
Last Sunday, the time had finally come again: our annual company outing made for an unforgettable day for our employees and their families.
Last Sunday, the time had finally come again: our annual company outing made for an unforgettable day for our employees and their families. All participants showed off their athletic skills, enjoyed lively conversations and got to know each other better. The outing was a great success that further strengthened team cohesion and created lasting memories.
The adventure began in the morning, when the team met for footgolf at Soccerpark Westfalen here in Dortmund – a first for us. Every participant put their soccer skills and accuracy to the test: the goal was to get the ball into the right hole on an oversized outdoor mini-golf course with as few kicks as possible. Everyone formed groups of up to five people to take part in this friendly competition. When the scores were tallied, the husband of one of our employees took first place. Thomas Klute – not only the founder of ingenit and one of its two Managing Directors, but also a passionate soccer player – secured second place. Congratulations!
After this exciting first part, the team and their families headed to a local beer garden to enjoy grilled treats and cold drinks and continue the lively conversations. The event was a hit not only with the employees but above all with the children. They had fun on the great playground with its various highlights and enjoyed more adventures there, forming some connections in this generation as well.
The strong turnout on a Sunday and the many smiling faces show us that we are on the right track and that a strong team is built on more than just working together. It is about fostering real connections and shared experiences. We are very grateful that this kind of company culture has taken root over more than 25 years – and that today not only our employees' partners know each other, but the next generation is already making its first connections, too.
Once again, this successful outing shows that it pays to invest in employee well-being and in team-building activities like this. We will continue this approach to create a positive work environment that fosters growth, collaboration and holistic development.
And as so often, after the company outing comes the Christmas party. The first plans are already underway.
