#diwodo 2024 – an exciting kickoff at the #Briefingday

Once again this year, Dortmund Digital Week – better known as #diwodo – is taking place. Innovations from the neighborhood, new partnerships between local companies, and fresh ideas and contacts from the digital economy – these are the core goals of #diwodo. It's about seeking and finding, and connecting digital know-how with the people who need it. Because good things are often close at hand.

One thing is certain: ingenit will be there again this year. The detailed program is still being finalized, and we used yesterday's #Briefingday for #diwodo to work on it. Dortmund's Lord Mayor Thomas Westphal and Heike Marzen, Managing Director of Wirtschaftsförderung Dortmund, made a point of opening the event in person and – despite miserable rainy weather – got us and many other companies excited about this year's #diwodo. The organizing team gave an overview of the supporting program and shared tips for promotion. Afterwards, all participants had the chance to catch up and network over cool drinks.

It was a pleasure to roast marshmallows over an open fire, collect ideas and make plans for #diwodo with our friends at ICN GmbH & Co. KG, TechnologieZentrum Dortmund, IT-Club Dortmund, Alumni Informatik Dortmund and many others.

#diwodo runs from September 23 to September 28, 2024, and the program will be published from mid-August. We will announce our contributions to #diwodo in good time, and we are very much looking forward to a colorful, exciting and informative week in September.
