#DIWODO goes FATT

Dortmund is a major IT hub, and to sharpen this profile further and build bridges to other industries, #DIWODO was launched 10 years ago. The DIgitale WOche DOrtmund (Dortmund Digital Week) connects AI, digitalization and innovation for exchange, expertise and efficient solutions. 

In its anniversary year, #DIWODO is part of FATT, a new festival format running from September 15 to 21, 2026, that brings together art (“Art”), technology (“Tech”) and food (“Taste”) at a special venue. The main location will be Kokerei Hansa in the north of Dortmund – at times one of the largest coking plants in the Ruhr area, now being further spruced up for IGA 2027. Many of the events during #DIWODO, however, take place at companies across the city.

For many years, our brand 123domain.eu has used the opportunity to present itself at #DIWODO – and this time we will be there with two events on September 15, 2026:

1. “The foundation of your digitalization – why domain management is a matter for top management today”
   In our online talk, Catrin Unrath explains why professional domain management is far more than registering an internet address – with vivid real-world examples. The talk takes place online only and is aimed at companies and their staff who manage domains. 
   Date: September 15, 2026, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
    
2. “All matcha or what? Between trend and trash”
   Together with our partner ICN GmbH + Co. KG, Nina Hülsken and Catrin Unrath cordially invite you to this workshop. Together, they take a close look at current trends in IT and marketing, play a live quiz with participants and show how to tell hype from real relevance. The workshop takes place in person at ICN; you can also join online. 
   Date: September 15, 2026, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
