ingenit awards a scholarship to young IT talent

As part of the Dortmund SME scholarship model (DOMO) (Dortmunder Modell Mittelstands-Stipendien), ingenit is supporting a scholarship holder with 1,000 euros for two semesters.

Since 2009, DOMO has set itself the goal of supporting young IT talent and attracting it to SMEs in Dortmund. As its sponsor, IT-Club Dortmund works locally to establish early contacts between well-trained young professionals and mid-sized IT companies.

Scholarship holders receive financial support, make contacts with Dortmund companies and have excellent prospects of an internship, a job as a student assistant or a first job after graduation. The participating companies also benefit from the contacts they make with students and can use the opportunity to retain promising talent in the region.

The scholarships are awarded through a competition. In speed dates, sponsors and applicants get to know each other and can then name their favorites. Based on these results, IT-Club Dortmund matches the companies with their scholarship holders.

This is the first time ingenit has awarded a scholarship for young IT talent in this form. We are excited to see how the speed dates go and are already looking forward to good contacts with students from FH Dortmund and TU Dortmund.

Thanks to steady growth and new projects, we are currently looking for new employees. Our current job openings are published here.
