ingenit sponsored the Bundesliga conference of the German Red Cross (DRK)

The German Red Cross (DRK) is on duty at almost every Bundesliga match, providing medical care and support for fans and players. On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the third Bundesliga football conference took place at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. The DRK-Kreisverband Dortmund (DRK Dortmund district association) and ingenit have worked together for many years, so it was only natural for us to take part in the conference as a sponsor and exhibitor.

The DRK-Kreisverband Dortmund e.V., the DRK Bezirksverband Frankfurt am Main e.V. and the BRK Kreisverband München jointly organized this year’s conference, to which all DRK district associations that regularly provide medical services at stadiums across Germany were invited. The event kicked off on the Friday before with a joint visit to Phoenix des Lumières, followed by dinner at Restaurant Höschkind. At the conference itself, a warm welcome from the organizers was followed by engaging expert talks, for example by Dirk Aschenbrenner (Director of the Dortmund Fire Department), Dr. Jörg Schmidt (Fire Chief, Cologne Fire Department) and Thomas Zöller (Head of the Emergency Team at the DFB Campus). In addition to the talks, participants split into three workshops and worked on practical topics: “Stadium incident commander,” “Hot situations” and “Medical requirements (international matches).”

So it only made sense for us to come on board as a sponsor,” says Marc-Christian Schröer (Managing Director, ingenit). ingenit supports the association above all with its SEPSys software for planning and billing medical services, and with the operations management software REMUS, which has been the standard software of the DRK-Kreisverband Dortmund e.V. at Borussia Dortmund matches in Signal Iduna Park since 2012.
