ingenit takes part in #diwodo

This week, Dortmund Digital Week (#diwodo) is taking place in Dortmund for the seventh time. It is about innovation from the neighborhood, bringing providers and users together and, ultimately, strengthening the region. After all, we Dortmund residents and Dortmund companies do not want to rest on our laurels after Dortmund became the first German city to be named European Capital of Innovation by the European Commission in 2021.

The concept is as simple as it is brilliant: via the #diwodo platform, local companies and institutions can present their digital solutions in the form of a workshop, talk, networking event or keynote. Anyone interested can register free of charge via the platform for on-site events, online sessions or hybrid events.

This year, more than 140 events have come together, two of them hosted by ingenit GmbH & Co. KG:

On Monday, together with our neighboring company ICN GmbH & Co. KG, we offered insights into both companies at the hybrid event "IT Employer Branding as a Duet". ICN acts as the extended IT department of SMEs and provides end-to-end IT and telecommunications support. It currently employs more than 50 people and celebrates its 33rd anniversary next year. It was founded by graduates of TU Dortmund – not the only thing it has in common with ingenit. Both companies are headquartered on the same street (500 m apart), are owner-managed, have a steadily growing need for IT professionals and, much more importantly, are proud of the trusting collaboration with their mostly long-standing employees. The talk presented various employee benefits and ways of strengthening team cohesion that other companies may be able to adapt. Tomorrow, Friday, there will be another talk, this time as an online event. For more than 25 years, we have been active in the domain industry under our brand 123domain.eu. We are experts in enterprise domain management and successfully advise start-ups, SMEs, corporations and the public sector in this field. The talk "The 5 biggest mistakes in domain management" will give a short introduction to the topic, followed by tips and advice on how to avoid such mistakes. The talk is free of charge and takes place on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. Registration is still open.

Our participation in #diwodo this year has already been a great success. Registrations for our talks are significantly higher than last year, we have already received positive feedback on our first talk, gained new input and made many new contacts across the city. #diwodo runs until this Saturday, and you can still register for various events.
