Oh la la – the ingenit team takes on a tournament
It has become a tradition at ingenit to hold a Christmas party (COVID months excepted), to which our employees' partners are always invited and which includes both an active part and a culinary one.

On the Monday afternoon after the first Sunday of Advent, the time had finally come. We met in downtown Dortmund in front of "gamer", a new venue we wanted to try out. All colleagues made it, some with their partners. After a short explanation and briefing, we got started right away. "gamer" offers a variety of games – some athletic, some requiring dexterity and others that call for quick reactions. Every game is a duel, and each member of the group plays against someone else. Everyone loved it, because it got almost everyone talking to everyone else. The winner of our competition was one of our most athletic colleagues, followed by a less fit one. Not on the podium, but just short of it, one colleague held her own with wins against several male participants. The tournament at "gamer" has something for everyone – we unanimously recommend this venue, especially as a team event.
After a short detour to the Christmas market for delicious hot drinks, we moved on to the relaxed part of the evening. At the Italian restaurant "Nonna di Mia", colleagues from all departments chatted with each other, warmly welcomed a new colleague and, finally, all raised a glass together to a successful year.
This year, too, many colleagues work mostly from home, while a few are in the office part of the time. That makes it all the more rewarding to see how strong our team cohesion is despite the physical distance. We are convinced that this is one of the secrets of satisfied employees – and something we can be very proud of.
After the Christmas party comes the company outing, and planning is already underway. We will see what the team can look forward to. Until then, we wish all our customers, friends and acquaintances successful Christmas parties of their own and wonderful moments with loved ones during this cold season.
