For many years, we’ve been proud supporters of the “Dortmunder Modell Mittelstands-Stipendien” (DOMO), an initiative in which medium-sized companies in the region offer scholarships to computer science students from TU Dortmund and FH Dortmund. The goal is to provide financial support to qualified students after successfully completing their first two semesters – while giving them the opportunity to get to know local companies as potential employers and gain valuable practical experience.

This year, we met 40 students in 20 speed dating sessions to get to know a wide range of scholarship candidates. In just six minutes, the students left a strong impression – and we are thrilled to welcome Nilofar as our scholarship recipient. Last week, she visited our office to officially sign the scholarship agreement and speak with Thomas Klute, one of our managing directors, about her academic focus and personal interests.

As part of the DOMO program, Nilofar will receive €1,500 in financial support, allowing her to concentrate more fully on her studies with a bit more peace of mind. In our next conversation, we’ll explore ways in which we can further support her – whether through technical mentoring or assistance with her bachelor’s thesis.

We’re already looking forward to participating again next year and supporting another aspiring IT professional on their journey into the digital world. We’re proud to be part of this long-standing initiative and to present ourselves as a committed regional employer in the IT sector.
