We love traditions, so once again all employees were invited to a varied and exciting ingenit Christmas party with their spouses and partners.

As is tradition, we started at the mulled wine stand. Even though we weren't standing directly under the world's largest Christmas tree this time, we could at least see it in the distance. The mulled wine tasted good anyway – and the meeting point provided a warm start to the evening.

We then made our way to BodaBorg, an adventure world in Ruhrpark, where various quests were waiting to be solved. There were 22 to choose from, each consisting of two to four levels. Incidentally, BodaBorg dates back to the 1990s in Sweden, and this location in Bochum is the only one in Germany so far.

After a brief introduction to colors, signals, and rules, we split into groups of three to five and bravely embarked on our adventure. We played various quests that required skill, cleverness, strong nerves, and, above all, teamwork. It quickly became clear that nothing works here without cooperation. We cheered each other on, met up again and again on the grounds, and puzzled, climbed, and tinkered together. The most successful group even cracked six quests—but they had a slight advantage due to previous experience with the game.

After this challenge for body and mind, we met up with some other colleagues and their partners at an Italian restaurant. And judging by the queue at the door, you could almost think that was the next quest. But after a few minutes, we were all sitting together and were able to round off the evening in a large group – with delicious food, good conversation, and a joint look back on a successful year.

The evening showed us once again what makes us a team: cooperation, enthusiasm, and the joy of overcoming challenges together. This has helped us progress not only at BodaBorg, but throughout the past year. And that's exactly what we're toasting to – with fresh motivation and great anticipation for everything we will achieve together in 2026.
